Lonely passage

Chapter1

The beginning of a new life.

The wind was blowing really strong, while the five and a half feet tall young wood elf was moving swiftly through the green and brown forest. He was determined on were he was going by the look on his face. He was wearying leathers that blend in with the green and brown forest. Then he had a bow strapped on his back and a small quiver of arrows. The bow was a short bow with a symbol on it like it was cut with a dagger it looked to be a cross on fire with the cross-made out of ice. The young wood elf had a knife in his boot. It was strapped down so it did not interfere on his running. He had frost blue hair with red eyes and weighed about 160. As he was running like a warrior with a rush and thirst to kill and then a young girl jumped out of the tree and said hello Frice. Then he had a dead stop so he did not run over the little girl. Then he gave a glare and said Tran what did I tell you about interrupting my training you know that I need to train to get to go with the village warriors to fight the army of lord Karoul. 'Sorry Frice I was only wanting you to help me get back at all the girls that are mean to me at the temple of wonders'. I would help you and you know that but you need to stay in the safer areas. The girls go there to try and act brave. Well Frice I needed your help. Tran I am so sick of you and I will probably end up killing you before the day is over. Then when he finished his threat the little girl took off. He pulled out his bow and notched his arrow in his bow and quickly brought his bow up to aim and shot at the little girl then she dropped when the arrow was in the back of her skull. As he put the bow back on his back he said to himself I really hate annoying people but I needed to kill my first person before I go to war. I just need that simple kill to increase my skill with the bow. Then Frice went over to the dead girl and checked her for anything valuable. He found three copper pieces and put them in his leather bag hanging at his waist that was empty before he put them in. Then he found a healing potion and put that in his backpack. Once he was done he put the remains next to a tree. Then stared at the blue sky and said I am going to need companions for the war to help me win the little battles that I will fight and search for my brother if he is still alive. Then he said lord of the mountains you will pay for taking my family away from me and burning the sacred village and stealing the two stones that represent my clan. Then he started to walk down the path that was brown with packed dirt and stared to hear horse hooves from afar like it was in front of him. The sound was getting closer as he was moving up the path then he realized that it was the sound of horses that had shoes on and he only knows who does that around the country and it was the knights from the water mountain castle. So as quick as he could he sprinted behind a tree and hid awaiting the knights so he would not be seen. Then he thought to him self that he would stay and fight but he only could take a couple on and they always traveled in five or six. They only did that because they knew that there are local people who would take advantage and kill them because they helped a little in the war on Karouls side. They only did it because of the lords need for power made him join. As the sound came closer he began to wonder if they would see him so he tried to only get an eye out to see them. Then he saw them go by with there head up and going at a very careful pace as if they were worried then he saw that there were only two of them so now he knows why they are going very cautiously they were going to be hard to kill in combat with a sword or close range but he remembered that he had a bow to use and then he was going to have to be very fast if wanted to kill both of them because he could get one shot out of surprise but the next the other knight would know of the other dead man and were the arrow came from so he began to question his speed with the bow and thought of all the training he had gone through so then he decided to take the risk besides they could be heading to scout out to see if it was a place there army could take over and give to the king of the castle. Then he got his bow ready to fire at the knights and shot and hit one of his enemies right in the head and he fell off his horse and the other knight pulled his broad sword out of his sheath and looked were the arrow came from and started running towards Frice but by then Frice already had an arrow ready to shoot and he did shoot the arrow and it hit the other knight right in the eye and the knight fell to his death. So the wood elf ran over and stared to check the bodies to get any thing that he wanted and found four healing potions six gold pieces a letter five days worth of meals and a ring that had a red and blue marking on it the finest ring he had ever saw and put it on and took one of the horses and everything else he found and put it in his backpack and got the horse to walk and the horse was gray but it was easily ridden so then he started off down the path that the knights came from and thought to him self that he killed three people in his life in ten minutes and said that I am going to kill hundreds of more when I join the army with the companions that I find and we will be know as the greatest party in the army and will probably own or own army, but he rather not think about that because he liked fighting for himself and not standing behind and army. Then he keep on riding until he reached the end of the forest and found a village destroyed and in flames he saw no one running but did see about 50 knights killing people and throwing them in the fire he was mad but he new if he was seen that they would kill him even if it was his village for years sense he had his first village burnt down and his family taken away from him. He new what he had to do and he did he hid thinking he was a coward but at the same time thinking that it was what he had to do in order to survive and fight off the lords combined armies with other kingdoms. So he watch them leave nothing standing not even the well in the center of the town. Then as he saw they were finished they got on their horses and rode the way they must have come from.

Chapter2 Looking for companions

As Frice watch them leave he started to walk over to the remains of the village and people. When he got to an old man lying on the ground he kicked him in attempt to see if he was still alive. The old man started to move and Frice flipped him on his back and said, how do you still live old man. The old man said, I took a blade to the chest. I was about to let go until you showed up. Then frice said, what made the knights attack the village. Then the old man said it was a man that came to the village seeking help because the knights were after him so we got our men ready to fight but we weren't expecting that many knights then they killed everyone but the man that came to the village. He got away and only two knights followed him on into the forest. Old man what did the man say his name was. The old man said he said it was triss. Then the old man coughed and died. As the young wood elf stood up and started towards the horse he got on it and started to ride the way he came from and was going at a fast paste. Then he got the horse to a gallop. With the wind blowing in his face he started to think about how he felt the wind as he new it the last couple years. But then he thought he was just imagining things. So started to wonder when he would find the man named triss and what he would look like considering that he had at least 50 knights after him but the fact that he left the village to fight his own battle he thought triss might be a coward. What kind of human could have that many knights looking for him or wanting to kill him? As he was riding down the path he started to notice that the path was getting narrower as he was riding down it. He didn't know this path like he knew allot others but he did know were this led and it was at the temple of wonders. Then he was starting to remember the little girl he killed and the girls that were picking on her all the time when they were at the temple of wonders maybe those girls of his village were still alive. In about a half an hour he was 10 feet away from the temple entrance. So he tied his horse to the tree and strapped two healing potions to his waist. Then started to walk in the temple the first thing that caught his eye was three girls that always pick on the little girl. They were only two years at the most older than him and he was not that interested in the girls because all the training he has been taking. Then he had asked if they had seen a strange man and they said yes. Were did the man go when he left Frice asked. Then they said that he was headed towards desert lagol through the gate what ever that means. Then he jumped to get his bow and shot the three women because he did not want anybody know that there was still village people living or that he was even here. They all got headshots through the eye. Then he said sorry but I need to live to be the greatest in the world without dieing in the country. Then he left the temple with everything he went in with except for three arrows. As he got on his horse he was wondering what a man like that would do as his companion and if he could fight along sides of the army or what he would do when he meet frice. Then he thought about the gate it has not been used in about teen years because a silver dragon always guarded it. So he started to ride the horse towards the path that lead to the mountains because he would need to go to the side of the mountain were the gate lied. He feed the horse some food from the backpack then started down the path as fast as the horse could go. As he and the horse were going down the path he saw a shine on the ground and thought it was something of value. He stopped the horse then got off and went looking for the shine or where it came from. Then he had found it in a matter of seconds. It looked to be a ring. So he picked it up and as he was picking it up he found out it was not a ring but a hidden door the ring was attached to. So then he lifted it all the way open because he had never seen something like this before and he was interested in the hidden door or what was inside. Then he climbed down a latter and it was not very dark because of the lit torches that were on the wall. Then he looked around and saw two men standing in front of the door looked to be guarding something or keeping something out. They didn't notice him at first but then they yelled intruder and he new that they saw him before he could get his bow out to shoot the guard with it the man was bring down the bottle of his sword to knock him out within two seconds all he saw was black and opened his eyes with a pain on his forehead and as he started to sit up he realized that he did not have any of his weapons on him or in the cell. He heard someone walking down the hall and looked out the bars from his cell cot and was waiting to see a guard but when the man passed it was a man dressed in a robe with a staff and a four-inch beard. He looked about twenty but he weighted about 160 and had black hair with purple eyes. The said hello my name is triss how are you feeling. Then the wood elf sprung from his cot and said are you the one that led all those knights in my village and left the fight. My village is destroyed and all the people in it. Yes I am triss the man who led those knights to the village. But I only wanted to test the warriors to see if they were worth joining the under ground resistance. How did you survive young wood elf. I was not in the village when it happened. I was in the forest training. On my way back I ran into two knights and I killed them both. So I headed for my village and when I got there the knights were burning everything and killing everyone. So I decided to look for you and find who you are and what you do. Triss said I would tell you about the underground resistance but I don't know if I can trust you. Although you did survive the knights by pure luck. So do you have any plans to join the underground resistance? Frice said I have plans of my own. Like what triss said? I plan on joining the army with companions that will help me kill off the lord's evil and his allies and getting back my family if they are still alive. I once had a dream like that to go fight in the army with companions but I joined the underground resistance and am know the leader of it triss said. Frice said but that is not what you truly wanted do is it? No but the underground resistance is a thorn in the lords foot triss said. What are you or what do you use to fight with frice asked? I use magic and I am a mage from the sky and I use mainly fire and wind elements. There are not many of my kind left but I am very happy there are not enough to start a war with because if there was we would be in allot of trouble because if you cannot control the power then it could kill you and many other living things. Frice said I didn't know there was such power.
