Note that I have deleted the article 'X' under the A7 criteria for deletion, namely there was no credible importance or significance asserted for the company. Please review WP:ORG, and if you believe that 'X' meets the notability criteria for inclusion outlined therein, I would suggest starting an article in your user subspace using the article wizard which will guide you through the creation process. This will give you extra time to work on the article at your leisure without worrying it will be immediately deleted. Once it is complete it can then be moved into article space if sourcing and notability guidelines for inclusion are met.

"Award-winning"

[edit]

MOS:INTRO: "The reason for a topic's noteworthiness should be established, or at least introduced, in the lead (but not by using subjective "peacock terms" such as "acclaimed" or "award-winning" or "hit")" WP:FILMBIO: "Exclude from the lead sentence phrases that bolster a person's status beyond basic descriptions covering career that designate the person's occupation. Examples include phrases that inflate standing such as being an award winner, award nominee..."

Information icon Please do not add religion, ethnic, or descent categories or information to biography articles without first ensuring that 1) the category is supported by reliably sourced article content, 2) the individual identifies as such, and 3) it is a defining characteristic of the individual . Please see WP:BLPCAT, WP:EGRS, and WP:CATDEF for additional information.

IMDB as RS in BLPs:

Information icon I noticed that you recently used IMDB as a source for information in a biography article. Please note that per long-standing consensus, IMDb does not meet the reliable sourcing criteria for the inclusion of personal information in such articles. You can read more about the reasons for this here, here and here.

Information icon Please note that I have reverted your edits to Ayesha Omer as you added information to the infobox that is not supported by reliably sourced content. Reliable sources include independent sources with a reputation for fact-checking and accuracy (tertiary websites such as movie and celebrity databases do not meet the criteria). For the specific guidelines and instructions related to biography infoboxes, please see Template:Infobox person. Thank you,

Information icon Please note that I have reverted your edits to Paris Smith as you added information to the article that is not supported by reliable sources. Reliable sources include independent sources with a reputation for fact-checking and accuracy (tertiary websites such as movie and celebrity databases do not meet the criteria). For the specific guidelines and instructions related to biographies and birth dates, please see WP:BLP and WP:DOB. Thank you,

Genealogy websites

I noticed that you have been using "x" as a source for biographical information in biographies of living persons. Please note that, per consensus, such websites are not considered reliable sources for such information, especially disputed content. These types of websites have been discussed extensively at the Reliable Sources Noticeboard, for example in the linked discussions at WP:ANCESTRY.COM, Wikipedia:Reliable sources/Perennial sources#Geni.com and Wikipedia:Reliable sources/Perennial sources#Findmypast, which you can review if you would like more information as to why these websites are generally considered unreliable for such information. Please also see WP:DOB which explains the policy that birth dates should only be added if they are widely published in reliable sources.

Chronology MOS

From Wikipedia:Manual of Style#Precise language (aka WP:DATED):

"Avoid statements that will age quickly, except on pages concerning current events which are frequently brought up to date. Avoid recently, soon, and now (unless their meaning is fixed by the context). Avoid relative terms like currently (usually redundant), in modern times, is now considered, and is soon to be superseded. Instead, use either:

more precise and absolute expressions (since the start of 2005; during the 1990s; is expected to be superseded by 2008); or an as of phrase (as of August 2007), which signals the time-dependence of the statement, and alerts later editors to update the statement (see As of); or simply use at instead: The population was over 21,000,000 (at December 2008). "

Fair use/BLP subjects

[edit]

Please do not upload copyright-protected images of living persons under a fair use rationale. Images of living persons cannot be claimed under fair use policy as they nearly always fail non-free content criteria number 1, specifically "No free equivalent. Non-free content is used only where no free equivalent is available, or could be created, that would serve the same encyclopedic purpose." As long as it is possible that there could be a free image of the subject available for use, or there could be one available in the future, then fair use cannot be claimed for the copyrighted images. Thank you,

Not news

[edit]

In addition to WP:NOTNEWS, WP:ONUS states "While information must be verifiable in order to be included in an article, this does not mean that all verifiable information must be included in an article. Consensus may determine that certain information does not improve an article, and that it should be omitted or presented instead in a different article. The onus to achieve consensus for inclusion is on those seeking to include disputed content."
