I am a statistician, with a particular interest in statistics as used by social scientists and people in related fields. I have a PhD in psychometricsand have worked for the last ten years as a sort of 'stats geek' to people doing social science research into AIDS, HIV, substance abuse, and related topics.

I also have a nonverbal learning disability.
