MAMET'S 'FROG PRINCE' LEAPS AHEAD OF THE REST IN 3-PLAY PRESENTATION-"The play is [[David Mamet</PERSON>'s "The Frog Prince," written and first presented here in 1982 in [[Chicago</LOCATION> in a one-time-only staged reading at Goodman Theatre." -- Chicago Tribune - Mar 22, 1988 [4]

New York Times-"The Frog Prince has its author's stamp: multiple deceptions, a hero who has trouble treating women as equals and, yes, a less than rosy conclusion. The Frog Prince, which had a successful run two years ago, has been revived with its original director, [[Eric Nightengale</PERSON>, and half its original cast: the talented [[Toby Wherry</PERSON> as the hapless ruler-turned-amphibian and the appealing [[Karen Michelle Wright</PERSON> as the milkmaid. Too sophisticated for theatergoers under 6, The Frog Prince has much to offer their parents." -- New York Times - Jul 23, 1999 [5]

Los Angeles Times: Archives-""[[Bobby Gould</PERSON> in Hell" and "The Frog Prince" are excursions into fantasy, with a light touch that's more rewarding than the heavier hand [[Mamet</PERSON> sometimes wields." -- Los Angeles Times - Aug 7, 1998 [6]
