I am a doctoral student of University of Primorska. I started - with a group of people in Koper, Ljubljana, Maribor and Murska Sobota (some are students, cultural workers, other writers, translatores and professors) an initiative to gradually include into Wikipedia also very important people (some - of course in our opinion, which we'll try to argument - much more important than those who are already included in the Wikipedia), who have been silenced and put away by the self-proclaimed signifyers of Slovenian culture. So I edited a site of dr. Taja Kramberger and prepared a site for dr. Drago Braco Rotar, who are, we are persuaded, excellent international intellectuals, litterates and devoted lecturers at the Faculty of Humanisties in Koper. They have been rudely persecuted by the official bureaucrats for their open criticism of conservative mechanisms and non-consequent thinkers in the country. Viator slovenicus, obviously not informed on Kramberger's and Rotar's case, which are internationally integrated in the important intellectual networks (maybe such a Viator also thinks that he is a silent Kramberger's rival?; this might be so, as she has many enemies in the field of history in small Slovenia, where not more than 20 publicly known historians pop up, and he's supposed to be a historian) - who thinks he can intervene in these articles - is of course free to comment my/our work as any other work, but I've (and some of my collaborators) also checked out his numerous entries in Wikipedia and to my/our modest opinion, I/we found many of his entries presuming, full of unprecisions, partiality and factical mistakes, not to mention his biased and unreflective interpretative weakness. But this is not to be disputed here, maybe our group will engage in this regard, and correct his one-sided entries. To number only one example: Rastko Močnik could never have studied at EHESS which was only founded in 1975 (he might only had his defence of the 3eme cycle at the newly established EHESS in 1975 or 1976), but only at the EPHE etc. This Viator guy has still a lot to learn about Slovenian culture(s), and cut loose from his control-freak pretentions as the dominus of the virtual Slovenian encyclopedia. There are many views and perspectives on Slovenian culture, in fact even many Slovenian cultures, for some people the products of minorities and singular individuals are more valuable than the broadly accepted populism and mediocrity (for example around Nova revija, which Viator has described). Viator's views are only one perspective on this complex field we called Slovenia. I beg Wikipedia editors not to allow one man reducing other perspectives, possibilities and choices. I really miss different intelligent, sensible and critical people to join this nascent formations and comment on these (Viator's) entries. Jcb (from Holland), please, do not remove again the photos and visual material on the article of Taja Kramberger, as I have all permissions needed for the publication. As soon as I have time, now I have none, I'll put them back with proper tags and copyright informations. Howdy to all benevolent people! Pitija
