Hi, Wikipedia!
I'm Pipenswick. I've read Wikipedia on many occasion, but I'd never known it had an article on detransition. I found its introductory section to be lackluster. I also noticed other areas of the article are lackluster. So I was compelled to register! I've transitioned and detransitioned multiple times, and I can now say I'm very comfortable as a trans woman. As I'm both gynephilic and autogynephilic, it took me a long time to accept myself. I strongly believe in what Anne Lawrence, another trans woman, has said. Her words helped me embrace who I am. I know some disagree with autogynephilia as a concept, but it's who I am. I hate the infighting and wish for our community to be more accepting of one of another.
I think Wikipedia is a terrific place to provide knowledge! I'd like see more information about people like me and others in the LGBTQ community. I've a brother who's also part of the community. He had gender dysphoria like me, but whereas I turned out trans, he turned out cisgender and gay. I find it interesting how siblings with the same bio parents can take such difference paths in life. So stuff like fraternal birth order and male sexual orientation astounds me.
I hope to be able to help build Wikipedia and contribute to disseminating knowledge to the wider world!
