I am Erica Slogar, and I go to Saint Mary's College. I am majoring in chemistry. This semester I am enrolled in Bioinorganic Chemistry with Dr. Kathryn Haas as the professor. I am also an undergraduate research student. My area of focus is on a protein called copper transporter 1 (Ctr1).

For hobbies, I like to go hiking, especially in the mountains. I've had opportunities to hike in Virginia, Ohio, California, and France. I also like to ride my bike and spend time browsing the local libraries. Puzzles are an avid hobby of mine when I have free time.
