Past Lifes
[edit]I use to edit wikipedia with username User:Pietro speroni. With such username I started the page on artificial life in 2002. I also used the username User:Pietro Speroni to insert material to artificial chemistry. I think from now on I shall try to stick with this username. The main problem in the past was that I simply forgot what the username was so I would edit thing in anonymous form or just make a new username.
Work
[edit]I am a researcher in Artificial Chemistries and Bio Informatics at Friedrich Shiller University, where I am also doing a PhD. As such, when I will have the time, you will probably find me editing pages regarding artificial life, artificial chemistry and related topics.
Diet
[edit]I also eat in Primal Diet. Unfortunately the article about Primal Diet has been deleted 6 hours I cast my vote. Too bad for those interested in it. Yet I am editing entries on topic related to this diet. This diet, as some related, are based on a series of facts, a series of assumptions, and a series of unproven theories. Some of the facts (and we are speaking here about undisputed scientific claims) are yet missing from this encyclopedia. For example the relation of enzymes with heat (the fact that they unfold, often loosing their ability to carry on their catalytic activity) has been proven many times, and is in any text book. Yet it was missing from enzymes page. But that fact is fundamental to understand why you have people who chose to eat mostly (or completely) raw food. I am right now gathering information to build a NPOV version of the primal diet page. I work on that User:Pietrosperoni/Primal_diet help welcome!
As I said, their (our) decision is based on various reasons, some are proven scientifically, some not yet, and cannot. As to now I only am interested into making sure that the scientific pages contain ALSO the PROVEN facts that are at the base of our diet.
and the rest
[edit]Speaking about other interests that I have, I am also interested in taoism, I have a blog, a personal wiki for my own notes, and a pretty homepage from where you can find nearly everything about me. Yes, also my publications.
