The Zambia-Zimbabwe border is the international border between the Republic of Zambia and the Republic of Zimbabwe. It measures 479 miles (770 kilometers) in length, and follows the flow of the Zambesi River.[1]

History

The border was first established at the 1884 Berlin Conference, with Portugal claiming all territory between Angola and Mozambique, including most of modern Zambia and Zimbabwe.[2] In 1890, the British issued an ultimatum to hand the claimed territory over to them,
