Driver Changes
[edit]- After 11 years with Mercedes, Lewis Hamilton decided to leave the German team and race for Ferrari, taking the place of Carlos Sainz, Jr.[2]
- This left Carlos Sainz, Jr. without a drive for 2025.
Calendar
[edit]The following 24 Grands Prix are due to be held as part of the 2025 World Championship. Each race is to run over 305 km (189.5 mi) plus one additional lap; the only exception is the Monaco Grand Prix, which is run to a distance of 270 km (167.8 mi) plus an additional lap.
Calendar Changes
[edit]- This season will feature the final Spanish Grand Prix at Barcelona before moving to a new Street Circuit in Madrid for 2026[9].
