Vincent Parisis
[edit]Vincent Parisis (1978) is a Belgian Entrepreneur active in the Mobile Services and Applications Industry. He studied at the Belgian Jesuits College Sint-Barbara in Ghent and continued his studies at the University of Brighton (UK) bacheloring International Business and Capital Markets. In the last year of his studies he founded ETRi SA, a pioneering and leading company in the Mobile Services Industry. At the age of 22 Vincent Parisis booked several business successes in the Benelux SMS industry after creating partnerships with most of the regional media groups such as VMMa, RTBF, RTL, De Persgroep, Roularta and others. He was elected the youngest ever 'Best Entrepreneur Nominee of the West Flanders in 2001'. In 2004 he founded The Wasp together with Serge Billiouw. In 2009 Vincent Parisis (CEO) and Serge Billiouw (CTO) decided that the SMS services market had reached it’s top and they founded The Application Store. Social vision combined with technical prowess, meant that it didn’t take them long to design the groundbreaking patented platform TAPP – creating interactivity and offering the ability to tap into the TV screen from any handled device worldwide. Tapp has won the Superior Technolgy Award 2011 at the National Association of Broadcasters in the United States of America. In 2012, Vincent Parisis became the co-founder of Statsforce (The first Analytical Social TV Tool in Europe). Vincent Parisis’ business is global and based in London (UK) and Sint-Martens-Latem (Belgium).
Vincent Parisis is married to Camille Van Wambeke (1980) and the couple has two children, Jean-Loup (12-02-2007) and Josephine (13-03-2009).
