Winters in Colorado

As you could imagine, Winters in Colorado are very different from a lot of other states. In most other states, the weather begins to drop, jackets come on, and people go back to their normal activities. However in Colorado, When the weather begins to drop and the snow comes down, snow tires go on, snowboards come off storage racks, and I-70 becomes the only road people drive on. Zoom calls are answered on the ski lifts and "sick days" turn into weekdays at Copper Mountain. Snapchat stories photograph pow days, jerry of the day becomes the most trending Instagram account, and #sendit becomes the most used hashtag in Instagram posts. When winter ends and the snow goes away, the snowboards go back onto the rack, weekends are filled with soccer games, and classes are once again full.
