Learning how to be a Wikipedia editor, slowly

Over the last few months I've been pottering, doing lots of minor edits here an there, and occasionally creating an entry, or doing some research to fix up an entry. I reckon that my style is Wikipedia:Be bold.

I've been learning pretty slowly. Most of what the other Wikipedia:Wikipedian editors do is far beyond me. I feel I'd be well suited to contribute to Wikipedia:Simple English Wikipedia for the meanwhile.

My first contrib here

I've just started to make contributions to Wikipedia, and so I'm creating this User page to show that I am serious, and not a vandal. (11 October 2007)

Belief Polarisation

My first creation of a wikipedia article - for belief polarisation, inspired by Cordelia Fine, full professor in the History and Philosophy of Science programme at the University of Melbourne. (11 October 2007)

Permaculture

I made my very first wikipedia edits to the paragraph on Cuba in the entry on Permaculture, at Permaculture#Cuba, but User:Irishguy reversed my edits and I don't know why. (11 October 2007)

The next day . . . User:Irishguy responded that it seemed that I had a conflict of interest, which, with hindsight, is as clear as daylight. I have learned to be much less (inappropriately) enthusiastic.

A. Unfortunately, according to Help:What_links_here#Limitations and Help:Interwiki_linking#Interwiki_links_versus_external_links, {{What links here}} does not have an interwiki link option. So all these fail to achieve what they want to
