Omagbitse Barrow, (born 30 September 1977) is a Nigerian entrepreneur, educator and business strategy advisor. He is the founder of Learning Impact NG [1] Omagbitse Barrow is the flag-bearer of Abundant Nigeria Renewal Party (ANRP) for House of Representatives Member for Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC)- Bwari Federal constituency of the FCT, Nigeria. He declared his intention to run for the House of Representatives on the 9th of July 2018. [2]
Early life and education
[edit]Omagbitse Barrow was born in Zaria, Kaduna State, to parents Dr and Mrs Barrow who both hail from Warri, Delta State, Nigeria. He attended Nazareth Primary School, Festac, Lagos, where he completed his primary education and Kings College, Obalende where he obtained the West African School Certificate. He then proceeded to the University of Lagos where he graduated in 1999 as the second best in the year with a Bachelor's degree (Second Class Upper) in Accounting. Gbitse served as a youth corps member at Central Bank of Nigeria in 2000, during which he wrote and passed his Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) examination as the best student. Career
[edit]Gbitse has served in various positions. He worked as an investment banker at Standard IBTC in Abuja from 2000 to 2003 prior to starting Learning Impact NG, BeBetter books. He is a regular columnist at Business weekly and also contributes to other newspapers. [4]
