[edit]This is just where I store my notes and jokes about Wikipedia. This is all really humor and not meant to be taken seriously. Also if you scroll down you'll find templates I like but that's not a problem.
- A wise man once said: "You know you've lost the plot when an IP user is the voice of reason on a talk page."
- I think I've lost more braincells simply being a member of the Wikipedia community than I ever gained reading thousands of articles.
- Whenever my feet hurt I pull up Wikipedia articles about horrible foot diseases and tell them they're next if they don't stop. It's worked 7 out of the 18 times.
- Wikipedia:Requests for arbitration/Date delinking was literally Wikipedia's World War. Edit wars everywhere, reverts in the hundreds. One giant war in Tennis. Why is it always the mundane articles people edit war over
- There's three kinds of ArbCom cases:
- 1. Really mundane stuff that somehow escalated because nobody knows how to drop the stick
- 2. The most horrifying thing you've ever read, dark web activity over Wikipedia edits
- 3. Problems so site-wide, WMF-wide, abandon hope all ye who enter here, ArbCom has to pass 497334278 motions to even begin to help the problem and has to pass 24308729437 more amends. Sockpuppets in the hundreds
- Every time I read a Wikipedia article about a disease I end up being like "uh oh" every time I feel a random pain
- I wish I could take a zipper and unzip my foot so I could get a great picture of the sinus tarsi to prove that sinus tarsi syndrome exists, but alas, my feet came zipperless
- Kudos to the madman who just uploaded a picture of his feet pics to put in a Wikipedia article
- Thinking you're not a member of the Wikipedia community when you don't edit a lot and don't know anyone is common sense. Thinking you're not a member of the Wikipedia community when you have 3 articles above stub class and recognize the name of several admins as people who edited your page and chatted with you is denial.
- I officially have Wikipedia brain, I read stuff and go "WHERE ARE THE CITATIONS" and yell at people for original research.
- Everyday I log onto Wikipedia I can slowly feel my neckbeard growing in. And I'm a girl!
- Out of all the friends the Anglophones could pick, why German Wikipedia? We've practically been set up for a World War Two reenactment every time something goes wrong!
- How are you, as a Wikipedia Editor, going to go insult the Wikimedia Commons and complain there's adult images on there? How do you know what they're going to be used for? I use them for drawing references!
- Wikipedia is my sole source of information now, whenever I'm curious about something I check Wikipedia first and literally anything else second
- You know you made one HELL of an edit for someone to revert it with the summary of "wtf".
- Average Wikipedia conversation:
- Every time there's a new ArbCom request for Norwegian stuff I get REALLY NERVOUS because if they put sanctions on the Norway subject area it's gonna be really dang difficult to work on Germany-Norway relations
