I am Fritzie M. Sarifa living in the Philippines. Wikipedia had been a very useful tool to search for varied information and it is about time that I also share and help what I could.

Although wiki-writing was once unknown to me, a project had challenged me to know more about it. Currently, I am involved with Wikiasiantravel.org, a wiki site which is dedicated to providing a comprehensive travel guide for travelers to Asia.

I believe that the best travel information about a place can come from those who are living in that particular place or those who have been there. Most travel guides are for promotion and descriptions can be quite exaggerated. The best way to avoid bias is to hear from people themselves who had the direct experience. As establishments cannot be judged on basis of one opinion, discretion and bias has to be weighed.

Today, January 8, 2008, I start my first active participation by doing some edits for Polomolok, my hometown.

If there are any English pages which need syntax corrections, throw them at me and I'll try to spend some time working on them.
