Hams For Hunger
Hams For Hunger is a partnership between Hormel Foods®, makers of CURE 81® Ham, based in Austin, MN and their retail partners in all 50 states. The program began in 1986 and through 2003 had donated more than $12Million dollars worth of premium CURE 81® ham, feeding tens of thousands of families. The program was re-launched in 2013 through local market partnerships with Cub Foods, Safeway, Brookshires, and Winn-Dixie/Bi-lo® holdings. CURE 81® hams were donated to local food banks in Nov/Dec of 2013.
