Mission Coffee Can is a 14-part reality web series about a group of North Central College students who participate in college business club, SIFE (Students in Free Enterprise) and learn about specialty coffee from Guatemala. The series was produced by Kevin Sinnott, Consumer Coffee Expert. The series follows the students as they travel to Guatemala and visit San Lucas Mission. They learn about reforestation, Mayan culture during a boat tour of Lake Atitian, coffee picking, coffee processing and coffee farming. Returning to the US they begin to market the direct trade coffee. They attend the SCAA (Speciality Coffee Association of America), learn about brewing at the BUNN Corporation and prepare for the National SIFE competition.
