Patent.drafter is a United States patent agent. (Not employed by the Patent and Trademark Office (PTO) - those people are patent "examiners" and trademark "examining attorneys".)

Patent.drafter also is a law student, and a mechanical/nuclear engineer.

Patent.drafter's father was quite old (54) when pd. was born, so for his entire childhood pd. was brought up pretty much along the same lines as were the parents of his chronological peers. This strange and culturally alienating experience instilled in him a profound interest for history and sociological study. Unfortunately, it also rendered him an utterly sad and contemptible creature.
