User:Patelurology2/Ruswa Mazlumi: D S Immamuddin Khan of Pajod
Appearance
Alumnus In Memoriam Feb 24, 2008 Rajkumar College, Rajkot
- When asked about why he wanted to stay with India, given a choice, where some nearby kingdoms decided to join Pakistan:
- India is my Mother,
- My Subjects, my Children,
- How can I desert this Land, that I have been blessed to be part of?
- One of Imamuddin Khan’s own couplet would be an apt epithet to his memory:
Aadmi amal se khud apna faisla kar le,
Ek kadam par dozakh hain, ek kadam par jannat
( Let man decide his own fate by his deeds,
On one side is Hell and on the other Heaven )
