What is Madongan Dam?

Madongan Dam is one of the man-made attraction in the north.It is located in San Marcelino,Dingras,Ilocos Norte.It is good for picnics and swimming because of its clear and cold water.One of the highlights of the place is the presence of nipa huts or just simply dip their toes on the water while chatting,taking pictures or eating.

Aside from its tourist attraction purpose, the Madongan Dam is originally built for purposes of regulating water flow, produce electricity and bring water to nearby places.
