As a new member in the wiki community I would like to express my appreciation of the acheivements and quality of the wikipedia to date. I think it is an important acheivement to have a reliable internet source for information. Moreover, my emphasis is on the variety and varying interpretations that it is possible to include in an online Encyclopedia. In my view, this is an acheivement of pluralism and democratic thinking and should be kept as liberal and open as possible to maintain that quality. This of course, while maintaining a high standard of definitions and content.
My background is in media and arts. I havae a ba in film art and have studied communications media alongside that. I hope that my contributions to Wikipedia will be extensive and longlasting.
