The Exclusive Men of the Year Africa Awards (often called EMY Africa Awards) is an award presented to celebrate men’s achievements across local industry, community, culture and public service.^[1] ^[2] Complimentary awards are also given to some women for their contribution to society.^[3] According to the ceremony, the awardees represent "the best" of the respective categories. The trophy depicts The Thinker.

The annual presentation ceremony occurs on or around Father’s Day.^[4] ^[5] ^[6]
