Immortal Regiment is a Russian national civil event which cause is to pay respects to the fallen heroes and relatives of people. This event is also a reminder, that wars must never happen again. Annual Immortal Regiment in 2020 had to take place online due to COVID-19 pandemic around the world. Specifically because of the quarantine in most European countries, the event was named "Immortal regiment - without borders" to symbolically represent that even in hard situations, nothing can stop the celebration of the Great Victory and that no virus can take that away from people, no matter where they are.
