Jerry's Artarama is a retail, catalog, and online operation that supplies artists and sponsors art events and workshops to introduce children and beginners to art. It was founded by Jerry Goldstein in 1968 as a retail business in Long Island, New York. The mail order business was started in 1979 by Jerry's sons, Ira and David. Corporate headquarters moved from New York to Raleigh, North Carolina in 1995. The company operates 15 retail stores in the United States, and an 80,000 square foot distribution center in Henderson, North Carolina.
In addition to its commercial operations, Jerry's also sponsors Art of the Carolinas, a tradeshow designed to show new products that is billed as the world's largest artists gathering.
Ira Goldstein is the current President of Jerry's Artarama, and David Goldstein is the Chief Operating Officer.
