Wasley Krogdahl was a conservative third-party activist, and a Professor Emeritus of Astronomy and Astrophysics at the University of Kentucky.
Formerly the national chairman of The American Party, he served as the Southern regional chairman for the Constitution Party, under the leadership of Howard Phillips. He was a 1998 candidate for the U.S. House of Representatives in Kentucky's 6th Congressional District, garnering 1,839 votes (0.9%).
A native of Springfield, Illinois, Dr. Krogdahl passed away on September 16, 2009.
