At that time, integrated by Anton Reisenegger in guitar and Rodrigo Contreras voice and lead guitar. [2] Later they were joined by JJ Vallejo drums and Juan Francisco Cueto as a bassist. [2] latter integral has varied over the career of the group being Dan Biggin up now, more stable despite not being a bear innate as his first instrument is the guitar. [3] At the same time Dan was involved in the production and the creation of the last diskWhite Hellwhere he worked his little "studio" for the making of the album. [4]

Later, it would be Sicariowho would give them the respect and the establishment on European soil by the critical acclaim that came to rerspecto in various specialized areas. [4]
Criminal has released a total of 6 studio albums, two live and two demos in addition to performing a DVD to be produced in conjunction with the albumWhite Hell. In this DVD collects several presentations in his last international tours. [6]
History
[edit]In late 1991 Anton Reisenegger Rodrigo Contreras meets to train a new thrash metal band in the country: Criminal. Anton was coming to lead to Pentagram one of the groups death metal underground more influential on the world and whose recognition by bands like [[Napalm Death] ] and Dismember. A few weeks later join the group Juan Francisco Cueto and J. Vallejo. The latter had already played with Rodrigo Contreras in a previous group. [2]
His debut was opening for Kreator in April 1992. That same year two demo began circulating in the local wing of the second of them (calledForked demo ) highly praised by international magazines the likes ofTerrorizerof [ [England]] andAardshok / Metal Hammerof Netherlands. [2]
Their sound soon began to spread drifting to an intense and lengthy agenda of presentations across the country. Thus, in 1994 recorded their first disc, independent label, calledVictimizedwhich sold about 1000 copies in three weeks after its release. The latter drew the attention of major labels BMG that it bought the album and joined the group. The album was sold in countries such as Mexico, Argentina and Japan. The videos of "Self Destruction" and "Disorder" began to be broadcast on MTV by the program,'Head Bangers rapidly gaining prominence internationally. That was how they made their first appearance outside the country in Buenos Aires, then Montevideo. The following year they travel to Mexico City and Guadalajara to play at a festival of Latin American metal. At the turn of this festival comes to replace Jimmy Ponce Vallejo JJ. [2]
Already in 1996 the group opened the concert by Bruce Dickinson and Motörhead also released a EP calledLive Disorder .< ref name = "Criminal elcarrete" />
It was in 1997 when they releaseDead Soul , by fans and critics, the best album of the group. The album was released in United States and Europe. Highlights tour within the launch and promotion in collaboration with dedicated bands like Exodus Y Napalm Death. [2]
In late 1998 drive outSlave Master Livewhich collects issues both in studio and live performances, including themes of Forkeddemo. [7]
In early 2000 Reisenegger Contreras and began producing the third album by the band's career: Cancer .< ref name = "elcarrete Criminal" /> But it was heavily criticized by fans as they claimed a change in style album commercial cataloging and further from the acquiring the praiseworthy previous brutality (Dead Soul). Not so well was the response in Europe where the album was fairly well reviewed by critics. Cite error: The <ref>

Anton Reisenegger next year he settled in England and met the lead singer of Extreme Noise Terror, which group would play as a support guitarist on tour that year. It is well known in depth as a member of the band: Zac O'Neil (drums), who points to the willingness to take other courses of music. Thus, Anton does not hesitate to show Criminal material to convince the drummer to continue with the project. Zack and I had planned to form a band with bassist Robin Eaglestone (ex Cradle of Filth) and keyboardist Mark Royce Entwined. They immediately accepted the idea of giving birth again Chilean Criminal. Note that Jimmy Ponce and Juan Francisco Cueto were no longer part of the band. [8] Cite error: The <ref>

Regarding the internationalization of the band and their settlement in England, Anton said the following in an interview in Chile:
I honestly think that if we had been in Chile no longer exist. If you do not see results and you start to turn into the same, people also get bored of you. It makes no sense. Our case, but I think that anyone, if he gets into a certain routine, frustrated and eventually no motivation.
With these new members started a tour of concerts in important venues in Europe, one of the highlight is the Wacken Open Air. [9]
Unfortunately due to internal problems, Robin Eaglestone communicates its output due to the incompatibility group of characters and differences of ideas after three years of touring and just when you thought about recording the new album from the band. Cite error: A <ref>
