This is an old thatched house with coconut leaves where Sree Narayana Guru born. The meaning of Vayalvaram is land adjacent to a paddy field. Veedu means house. More than a century old, Vayalvaram Veedu is still protected in good condition. It is located at Chempazhanthy in Thiruvananthapuram District of Kerala State in India. Sree Narayana Guru propagated the philosophy based on "One Caste, One Religion and One God for all Human Beings". Vayalvaram Veedu is an important pilgrimage centre.
