When we talk about the history of "indian civilization",we came across somewhere about the 'INDUS VALLEY CIVILIZATION' It is the civilization which was extent in about many kilometers. This civilization was first discovered by Alexander Cunningham while doing a work of railway from Karachi to Lahor, later it was start digging and there is a very big town was found named as "HARAPPA" As harappa was the first town found during indus valley civilization this civilization was also named as harppan civilization.
