James co-found SaxonAir with his friend and colleague, Christopher Mace, in 2007, and backed by a local businessman before they sold their shares to its new owner in May 2009. James was noted in many articles associated with its success over the nearly 10 years with the company.

Early life

[edit]

Born with a cleft lip and palate, in March 1978, James spent his early life in and out of hospital having corrective surgery and treatment at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital to repair the cleft and associated side affects of growing up with this deformity. Though born in Norwich, his mother and father (Anita and Ivan) moved the family to Shoeburyness, near Southend-on-Sea, when he was just two years old, to allow his father to teach people to fly at nearby Southend Airport.

Personal Life

[edit]

James and his brothers Rob and Mike were introduced at an early age to drama classes and verse speaking, where they lived in Southend-on-Sea, Essex. As a result, all three brothers learnt to sing and enjoy performing in front of an audience.
