Hi there,
A student at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government (Cambridge, MA), I was born and raised in France. I went to college in Paris (Sciences Po '08--Political Science and Communications) and also studied at Columbia University. I am interested in new media and how they can help foster participation, collaboration, transparency, and citizen engagement in the fields of politics, policy, and governance. I think Wikipedia is a wonderful tool and I totally support the effort of the community to make more knowledge more accessible to more people. I am also very interested in Wikipedia's governance mechanisms, especially in the interactions between the different versions of the encyclopedia. Another interest of mine is cognitive science, mainly philosophy, linguistics, and psychology.
From 2006 to 2010, I have made small contributions to Wikipedia, mostly on the French version of the free encyclopedia. These edits were made with very little knowledge of Wikipedia's rules, policies and practices, both in terms of content and in terms of process. They include early edits to the Facebook, Chatroulette, and Paul Smith articles as well as smaller edits to the Columbia University and the Sciences Po articles.
