I was raised in the catholic faith and baptized as a baby, both my parents are catholic. During my childhood from birth to seven grades, I was very devout catholic. I attended parochial schools and seminaries. After my college education, I even tossed around with the I deal of becoming a priest. So, I decided to join for priesthood formation stage at Rosminian fathers in Tanga- Lushoto, unfortunately, I didn't go further in the priesthood formation, I was depressed and confused,I started drinking a lot. Even went far as attempting suicide. My heart was so broken and I was so emotionally exhausted and nobody could come to help me. My catholic faith was put to the test harder than before. In 2016, I knew that I couldn't continue down the road I was on, so I decided to receive Jesus Christ as Lord and savior. I became a new person and my life changed. I have valleys, but I also have mountains. I have hope; I see the good in the bad and am transformed.
God calls us to service far beyond anything we could ever imagine. God does not save us, so as we can sit, but to serve. After receiving Jesus Christ as Lord and savior. I never thought of serving God as a full minister in the Church. To me was a higher thing in the body of Christ. I believe God can and does often speak his calling into lives in precise and unique ways. My commitment to the church makes me walking in the presence of God and the power of the Holy Spirit. I reflected on God's work of sanctifying Grace in my life, and how I have been convicted to give up my addictions, wordily interests, hobbies, and relationships that are not pleasing unto him.I love God and am deeply grateful for his love and grace in my life, although my spiritual upbringing was inconstant and somehow shallow, the Lord never left me without Christian influence. I am not able to serve God on my own. I am not eloquent and am weak in some ways of my life. It's my prayer that I will be strong and courageous in the Lord and that he will use me to serve him in whatever ways for his glory.
I believe that my knowledge and my background will help me to increase more to sharpen my skills in both spiritual and physical. But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace to me was not without effect. No, I worked harder than all of them--yet not I, but the grace of God that was with me. 1 Corinthians 15:10
