Pieces of Eight (Computer Game)
[edit]Pieces of Eight is a 1986 text-based adventure game designed in 1985 by Paul Holland, programmed by Geoff Body and produced by Jacaranda Software. It was released on a range of early microcomputers including the Apple II, BBC Micro, Commodore 64, IBM PC and later the Mac. The game is wholly owned by the Queensland Department of Education.
Gameplay
[edit]Pieces of Eight accepts simple natrual language commands (such as GO NORTH, TAKE THE ROPE, etc...) using a sentence parser created by David Smith.
