This user's real name is Oscar van Vliet. He completed a Ph.D. at Utrecht University on sustainable transport. He then moved to IIASA to work on global energy scenarios. That didn't work out and he moved on to ETH Zurich to research and teach energy transition. He then moved to work at Utrecht University again.
