I am originally from the Quad City area of Iowa and Illinois. I currently live in Maryland near Washington, DC. I have a bachelor’s degree in philosophy and an advanced degree in theology.
Given my academic background, my interests include the historical, theological and liturgical aspects of the Catholic Church, as well as other Christian denominations. I also have an interest in art and architecture, especially as they are applied to Christian worship. Other interests include American History, especially the Civil War, history of Iowa, 19th and early 20th century European immigration, and the two world wars.
Any articles that I write or edit are basically those that cover these interests.
Too often great editors like you are overlooked and not given the credit deserved for all their great contributions. So I am awarding you this barnstar to let you know I greatly appreciate all you do for Wikipedia, and please keep up the outstanding work!!CTJF83chat 03:10, 17 November 2010 (UTC)
