My name's William, but you can call me Will.

I love etymologies, calligraphy and Anglo-Saxon history. My ancestors (whom I know lived in the early 18th century onwards) came from Wanstead (Old English: Wenstede) in Essex, England. It was known by the East Saxons as East Seaxna Rice (Kingdom of the East Saxons), or more commanly Eastseaxan (lit. the East Saxons), and I'm very proud of my Saxon heritage!
