Headley
[edit]- In 1998, Haslingden chose him as the best player of the club's history, as part of the 'Beyond the Boundary' exhibition on the Lancashire League.[1]
- Politician, former Jamaica captain and member of the West Indies Cricket Board of Control Noel Nethersole was instrumental in getting Headley appointed as captain of the West Indies team.[2]
