South Korean Tenor Jueun Jeon has already collected numerous performing experiences as an Opera Singer.

He made his debut as an Opera Singer with the Graz Opera as Tamino from The Magic Flute in the 2013/2014 season in the new production.

And from 2014/2015/2016/2017 season he has sung at the Theater and Philharmonic Thuringia as a soloist ensemble.


He also enjoyed The Creation of Joseph Haydn as Uriel in the Seoul Arts Center, a Gala Concert at the Konzerthaus Wien and the Beethoven Messe in the Frauenkirche Dresden as a Tenor Soloist.

He performed also OPEN AIR in the Castle Park "Summer Opera at Lübbenau Mozart’s The Magic Flute and Requiem", as Tamino and Tenor Soloist.

He sang in the Opera Gala Concert as Il Duca di Mantova in Verdi's Rigoletto with the Landesbühnen Sachsen and Operetta gala "Der Bettelstudent" as Symon, "Giuditta" as Octavio with the Orchestra of the Staatsoperette Dresden.

And sang at the Graz Opera in the concert Veruschka as Raoul and also at the Graz Opera in the Benefizkonzert.


He has already participated in several competitions and won first prize in the International Antonín Dvorák Competition, the Edition Bärenreiter Publishing Company Award, the North Bohemian Theater Usti nad Labem Award and the Slovak National Theater Bratislava Award. And he got the Diploma at the Concours de Geneve.


Jueun Jeon graduated from the Hanyang University in Seoul, graduated from the HfM in Dresden and received the Diplom Gesang degree, the Master of Music and the Meister Klasse Oper degree in the operatic class. At that time he studied by KS Prof. Jürgen Hartfiel.


He has taken several master classes Evelyn Herlitzius (singer), James Vaughan (Head of the Music Staff in Teatro alla Scala), Christa Ludwig (singer) and Romualdo Savastano.
