Hi,
By way of disclosure, I work at Urban Outfitters. I would like to discuss what I see as two primary issues with the article:
Emphasis: As it stands, the article is mostly a list of criticisms and probably a violation of WP:UNDUE. Rather than debate the truth/falsity of some of these claims, it seems to me that they might be re-evaluated and summarized such that they’re a fair representation of a decades-old company.
Naming: As a part-to-whole matter, the article confuses Urban Outfitters the brand with Urban Outfitters Inc. commonly referred to as "URBN". URBN is a portfolio of global consumer brands comprised of Urban Outfitters, Anthropologie, Free People, BHLDN, Terrain and the Vetri Family.
For example:
Urban Outfitters manages five separate brands, including its namesake, Anthropologie, Free People, Terrain, and BHLDN; together, the brands operate over 400 retail locations worldwide.
…is more accurately expressed as:
Urban Outfitters is part of the portfolio of global consumer brands under Urban Outfitters, Inc., (“URBN”) which also includes Anthropologie, BHLDN, Free People, Terrain and the Vetri Family.
Let me know the best way to proceed. -- Oonmcc (talk) 19:33, 17 January 2017 (UTC)
