All you need to know about me is thus - I am a gigantic geek. I'm a graduate in computer science, I love learning about high-tech startups, and I spend a lot of time penciling out entpreneurial and technical projects. My preferred language is C# but in general I'll touch anything that uses the .NET Framework.
Windows Home Server
[edit]I own an Acer Aspire EasyStore 3000 and love finding new ways to extend its usefullness in the course of developing .NET applications and in syncing all of my computers at home. I've made a few small contributions to Windows Home Server page and I'm always looking for ways to improve it. If you have any suggestions for improving that page or adding new ones related to WHS, feel free to add them to my personal talk page.
List of Popular .NET Projects
[edit]I'm considering compiling a list of popular .NET projects on Wikipedia, similar to the List of open source hardware projects or the List of artificial intelligence projects. Here are some of the ones I am considering:
- DotNetNuke - popular open source content management system written in .NET
- NHibernate
- SandCastle - think of it as JavaDoc for .NET
- SubSonic - a popular object / relational mapper for data layers in .NET
- NLog - a popular logging / tracing tool for .NET projects (no Wikipedia page currently)
- Log4Net - another popular logging / tracing tool in .NET developed by the Apache foundation
- NUnit - a popular .NET unit testing framework
- ScrewTurn Wiki - an open source Wiki application developed in ASP.NET
- BlogEngine.NET - an open source blog engine developed in ASP.NET 2.0
- TweetSharp - a .NET library for interfacing with most major microblogging platforms, like Twitter
