Lena Prima
Daughter of legendary Louis Prima[1] and his 1962 stage partner and wife Gia Maione[2]. Lena is the eldest of two children[3] by the couple and she continues to celebrate the life and music of her dad. She pay homage to her legendary father by continuing to play and sing his famous arrangements such as "Sing, Sing, Sing", "Pennies from Heaven", Jump Jive an 'Wail" as well as "Just A Gigolo" and "That Old Black Magic".
A songwriter,singer, fine artist and jewerly designer[4] in her own right; Lena has received numerous honors for her performances and artistic work. Her song stylings and song writing abilities are showcased in her album "Since The Storm". The album showcases own songs and her arrangement and flare on legendary tracks by her father and others. The album was inpired and dedicated to the survivors of hurricane Katrina in her childhood home of New Orleans.
Lena has performed her dad's music in various venues[5] and performs annually at the Las Vegas San Gennaro Feast[6]. Until recently Lena and her bandleader husband Tim Fahey; called Las Vegas home. They have recently relocated to New Orleans to continue the song stylings of her dad in the city where he was born.
