Cindy's Drive In, often shortened to Cindy’s, is a local, family owned, ‘50s-style drive-in ice cream parlor and restaurant in Granby, Massachusetts. Cindy’s owner and founder is Cynthia Maloni, better known as Cindy, but it is generally managed by her son, Jeremiah Maloni.[1]
The aesthetic of the area, as previously mentioned, is meant to feel like a classic '50s diner. They have '50s-style music and images to fit it.[2]
There is a picnic spot and small playground in the pavilion behind the restaurant, a popular location for dogs and children.
Menu
[edit](Official website's menu here)
Cindy's is most popularly known for its ice cream, but it offers many other foods, mostly American dinner items. Cindy's offers grilled food, hamburgers, hot dogs, and many other items.
History
[edit]According to the owner, Cynthia Maloni, the shop was originally a Tastee-Freez that started in the 1950s, but the Maloni family bought the place in 1995 and turned it into what it is today.[3]
