Carolyn Brent is an American author and activist.[1][2][3] She is the author of the best-selling book, Why Wait? The Baby-Boomers Guide to Preparing Emotionally, Financially and Legally for a Parent’s Death.[2][4] Brent is also the founder of A Caregiver Story, a non-profit organization that provides medical and legal resources to caregivers and others dealing with an aging loved one.[2][4][5] In addition, she operates the educational resource program Grandpa’s Dream.[5][3]
Brent has also worked with legislators as an advocate for senior’s rights.[4][3]
