Edward Fryer (Eric Clapton's Father) ...

Edward Fryer is the father of the English musician Eric Clapton. Clapton describes him in his autobiography as a Canadian military serviceman who was in England and met his mother. Edward Fryer was born on March 21, 1920 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada and passed away on May 14, 1985 in Newmarket, Ontario, Canada.
