ENGR. OGIAMIEN CEWUO CHARLES, FNSE, FNIHTE Engr. Ogiamien Cewuo Charles studied Civil Engineering at the University of Benin, Benin City in Edo State. He obtained First degree (Bachelor in Engineering in Civil Engineering) from the referenced University. In 2016, he also graduated from the prestigious Federal School of Survey, Oyo, Oyo State. In addition, he is a holder of a Master’s Degree in Geomatics Engineering from the University of Benin, Benin City, Edo State. Presently, he is performing his PhD programmme in the field of Geomatics Engineering with special focus on Integration of Machine / Deep Learning Algorithm and Geospatial Technologies in Flexible Pavement Evaluation and Management of selected road Network in Benin City, Edo State, Nigeria A COREN Registered Engineer, He is a member of the following professional bodies:

In 2015, he established a GEOMATICS AND CIVIL ENGINEERING Consultancy firm, DIARSA GLOBAL INTEGRATED SERVICES LIMITED (DGISL). From 2018 to 2022, he led his consulting firm as the team leader to capture the Engineering Design information for the commencement and completion of Engineering Designs of Two Hundred and Fifty Eight (258) roads for EDO-SEEFOR agency. In 2018, he coordinated his team to carry out Engineering Designs including Flood and Erosion Control works for Twenty Seven (27) roads in Benin City for the Ministry of Environment and Sustainability, Edo State. His firm is currently engaged by the Ministry of Roads and Bridges, Edo State to execute Project Management services including Preparation of Optimum Project Cost, Engineering Designs and Supervisions of completed and on-going road projects. An accomplished Civil and Geomatics Engineering Consultant whose career has been a dynamic and progressive one, with his on-going achievements as a Project Team Leader in road and other infrastructural projects in various parts of the Country especially in Edo State. In addition, he is a Technical Content Creator and a Training Consultant in Computer Aided Drafting Design (CADD) and Geographic Information System (GIS) applications He is a core member and fellow of both Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE) and Nigerian Institution of Highway and Transportation Engineers (NIHTE). He has always supported the ethics and ideals of the Society and Institution respectively; he is the present Vice Chairman, Nigerian Institution of Highway and Transportation Engineers (NIHTE), Benin Chapter in Edo State. He is happily married with Joy Oghogho Ogiamien and they have three Children namely Radiance, Divine and Samuel.
