Larie is an American rapper and songwriter who currently resides in Dallas, Texas but is originally from Danville, Illinois and partially raised in Indianapolis, Indiana. Larie has been doing music off and on for 10 years as she immediately went off to college after graduating high school. Larie is a proud Alumna of Texas Southern University where she received her Bachelor's Degree in Administration of Justice and would later complete her Master's Degree in Criminal Justice at the University of North Texas at Dallas.
Larie also loves Classical music as she began playing the violin and reading music at the age of 10 years old where she attended performing arts schools in Indianapolis, Indiana. Larie has played pieces composed by Beethoven, Bach, Chopin, Brahms, Handel to name a few classical artist. Larie was influenced by her oldest sister and cousin after they arrived from college and played beats and lyrics they wrote to pursue music. Larie recorded her first track at the age of of 17 years old titled " 5 Star Remix" with Eastend Music Group member BEAZY.
Larie is inspired by Mary J Blige, Drake,Jay Z, Too Short, Lil Kim, Lauryn Hill, Chaka Khan, GAP Band, and Erykah Badu to name a few. Larie plans to drop her EP in 2021.
