Clipper Canoes is a brand of canoes manufactured by Western Canoe Manufacturing Inc. in Abbotsford, BC, Canada. ^[1] Its retail store, Western Canoe and Kayak, is the largest paddlesports store in Western North America. ^[2]

History

Founded in 1976 by Marlin and Mary Bayes, manufacturing in 1978 after the company bought out the Clipper name. The company changed location in 1989 to it's current address. ^[3]

The iconic mural was painted on the side of the warehouse in XXXX by , and can be seen while driving through Abbotsford on Highway 1. ^[4]
