The Dig (band) is an American rock band from New York, New York, consisting of David Baldwin (vocals, guitar), Eric Eiser (guitar, keyboard), Emile Mosseri (bass guitar, vocals) and Jamie Alegre (drums). They released their first LP, Electric Toys, in June 2010 and are currently unsigned.
History
[edit]The band first formed in 2007, then consisting of Baldwin, Mosseri, and Eiser. The band released their debut EP Good Luck and Games (produced by Bryce Goggin) later that year.
The Dig began touring after the release of Good Luck and Games and caught the attention of booking agent Kevin French, at the Paradigm Agency, who quickly signed the band in June 2009.
Around the same time, the band headed into Brooklyn’s Trout Recording with Goggin once again to record their full-length debut, Electric Toys, which was written and arranged by all four members.[1]
Untitled Album (2011–present)
[edit]As of January, 2011 the band has returned to Brooklyn's Trout Recording in between performances to work on their new album.
