Video Game Career

[edit]

Chris Darril rose to fame in the video game community, when he began independently developing a game titled, 'Remothered'. A fan-remake of Hifumi Kono's popular Japanese, survival-horror title for the Super Famicom, 'Clock Tower' (also known as, Clock Tower: First Fear), which never received a international release outside of Japan. After many years of development, Remothered eventually caught the interest of Hifumi Kono himself; who would soon hire Chris Darril for cover-art and character design in his upcoming Kickstarter campaign, Project Scissors: Night Cry by Nude Maker. Between 2013 and 2014, Chris was also hired to provide his artwork for the Canadian development team, Psychoz Interactive. Chris provided artwork for their mobile survival-horror title, Forgotten Memories: Alternate Realities-- which would go on to be very financially successful and receive critical acclaim, with nominations for 4 CVA, Candadian Videogame Awards. Chris Darril is currently confirmed to be involved with several projects, including the revival of his original project, Remothered, now under the title, Remothered: Tormented Fathers. Also involved with the Remothered: Tormented Fathers project is composer, Nobuko Toda who worked on various projects, such as: Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, The Evil Within and Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain.
