Kosovo’s Cultural Heritage
The heritage of Kosova makes Kosova an attractive country. Kosova’s heritage was created from ancient civilizations who left rich cultural treasures. This heritage includes archeological parks,natural park, centers, churches, mosques, houses and museums. Kosova’s heritage is qualitative and quantitative and its very attractive for visitors who wants to see a masterpiece on heritage, to learn the history from evidences left from the Illyrians. Kosova is known for known museums and unusual artifacts. Protecting, preserving and presenting the heritage of Kosova is a big part of orientation of the Republic of Kosova especially the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sport.
Monuments Of Kosova’s Heritage

Kosova’s Heritage is rich in monuments, museums and houses. This part of heritage is very attractive for visitors. One of the most known monument of Kosovaa’s Heritage is Decani Monastery built in 14-th century in honor for Serbian king Stefan Decanski. Also another known monuments is The Patriarchate of Peja Monastery a group of four churches. Another very well known monument is The City of Ancient Ulpiana, Sulltan Mehmet Fatih Mosque in Prishtina and the house of League of Prizren.[1]
Museums
[edit]Nowadays Kosova has 7 museums all over its territory. They are National Museums of Kosova, Railway museum of Kosova, Ethnogical museum of Kosova, Ethnographical museum etc.[2]
Traditional Clothes
[edit]A very special place has Traditional Clothes on the heritage of Kosova. The clothes of Traditional clother were home made by craftmans. There are 200 hunder different kinds of Traditional clothes, depending the place, the time and a lot of another reasons. Male traditional clothes are specified with white plis, and the head is covered with white cotton scarf, long woolen white pants. And the female are specified with red headdress, xhubleta like a skirt, and socks.[3]
Traditional Food
[edit]The most known traditional food of Kosova’s heritage is flija. Flija is made with Saç and especially baked in mountainous areas. Another known traditional food is Bakllava. A desert with trukish origin.
